New Music: SoulSeesBest Releases Second IDM Single, ‘Country Quick,’ Explains New Album Concept

‘Country Quick’ is the first IDM single released from the ‘Country-lectro’ compilation, featuring country inspired electronica by SoulSeesBest. Leading prominently with the sound of a horse neighing, kicking off a directional rhythm, resembling a full, four-legged, sprint. With some industrial influences, the drive can also be described as steam-engine, early motorcar-esque.

From WriterJoshua: “Early in my evolution as a musician, turned sound engineer, I wanted to challenge myself with a new style of music. I was always drawn to slower, mid-tempo cadences, from my fondness for modern hiphop and older country music. Upping the BPM was an exhilirating experience for me. It gave me so many new tones and rhythms to play with, not to mention, adding some new life to the percussion row.

Some of the notable influences for this track, that come to mind, include: Firestarter by The Prodigy, the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack, and the pure adrenaline of running with horses.”

'Country Quick' is scheduled for release on September 20, 2025, on all major streaming platforms.
