About Handcraft

The inaugural presentation by SoulSeesBest has been in production for over 15 years. Many tracks in this collection have been in and out of the lab, and privately enjoyed since 2019.

After tinkering with social media, and studying options for publishing, the time was right to share this innovative digital orchestra with the universe. Originally intended to be instrumental music for future vocal projects, the time and energy that went into each individual piece of music was too rich not to be made available to alternative audiences.

Handcraft (2025) is an ode to the unseen. Works “from a man who’s soul sees better than his eyes do” have be honed with an ailing sense of vision, but also enhanced, by the developing senses unaffected by the eye. What makes so much of Popular music successful is often overlooked. The frontman, or vocalists, are often touted as the main focus but, the truly remarkable music across modern history is only made possible by the tireless efforts of musicians, sound engineers, and the technical components, that the average listener may not give a second thought to.

In life, as in music, greatness is often beautifully gifted from the less obvious, the more subtle, from the unseen.

Handcraft (2025) is for the craftsman, the innovative thinkers, the “piano movers” that make popular music everything that it is, today.

This one is dedicated to the unseen.
